Leg 2 complete. Howard smokes it with a 6:34 average - the fastest leg so far. Rick's now out for a scenic but oh so hilly leg!

Morning Update

Van 2 starts out hot.   Leg 19, Kremer kills two in first two miles running six at 7:23 clip.  Bates set us up with a 7:34 pace.  Stackpole goes wild and kills THREE in the first half mile!

Michele smokes the Van 1 Second Leg. Now it's time to rest

Weather update ...


Van 1 - 5:15 pm, Clermont, KY (Jim Beam) - 75, sunny
Van 2 - 9:30 pm, Burkes Spring, KY (Makers Mark) - 65, clear

48 Hours (almost) till "game" time....



So, anyone tapering for the Chase? If Rose is only eating GU for 24 hours I would hope that she is eating a lot over the next 48 hours!

OK.  About 72 hours until we start.  Brett is already sweating a little I think...I hope this blog will make it easier for us to track ourselves and for others back home to track us.
